Scientists from Cornell University have created milk beer

Milk beer has been created recently in the USA. That research was inspired by the wish to get rid of Greek yoghurt wastes left after production.

Specialists found out that raw whey material can be used for alcoholic beverages production. Mister Alkain, a former manager from Miller worked in the department of innovations was engaged in the development of this technology.

"If we find a method to turn whey into a drink which will be tasty for different people, then we will be able to create absolutely new economic arena for businesspeople and brewers" — states Mr.Alkain.

By means of this new technology low-alcoholic beer with 2,7% has salty and bitter taste. Drink will appear on the market within several years, Alkain promises.

"For production of these drinks brewers use such crops as corn, rye and barley. Dairy products will become natural additives especially now when consumers require new and interesting tastes, "he adds.
