In December report USDA analysts raised evaluation of world corn production in 2017/18 year again. In comparison with November forecast the indicator is increased by 800 thousand tons to 1,044 billion tons.
In particular, analysts raised harvest evaluation in China to 215,8 (215) million tons that, however, is less than last year's indicator of 4 million tons. Besides, the forecast for the EU was corrected and now it is around 60 (59,5) million tons.
Evaluation of world grain export in the current season is at the previous level — 151,4 million tons. At the same time the forecast for the EU was raised to 2 (1,5) million tons, and for Russia lowered to 5 (5,5) million tons.
The forecast of world corn stock in 2017/18 year is increased in comparison with November calculations to 204 (203,8) million tons. Adjustments about Chinese market — 79,5 (78,6) million tons, Brazilian market — 9,3 (9) million tons, the EU market — 6,8 (6,4) million tons and the USA market 61,9 (62,9) million tons have been made.
