The European Angus Forum (EAF) will take place from 11 to 18 May 2026 in Romania, bringing together Angus breeders, farmers and experts from across Europe. Hosted at alternating locations across European countries, the forum serves as a platform for professional exchange, breeding excellence and international networking within the Aberdeen Angus community. The 2026 edition in Romania is organized by Romanian Aberdeen Angus Association and is supported by EuroTier, the world’s leading trade fair for professional livestock farming, contributing knowledge, visibility and international reach to the event.
The European Angus Forum 2026 benefits from the expertise of DLG Markets South East Europe, which acts as organizing partner in Romania, a subsidiary of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) that brings extensive experience in delivering agricultural trade fairs and professional events around the world.
The European Angus Forum 2026 addresses key topics such as sustainable beef production, breeding strategies, animal health, animal welfare and market development. The eight-day event combines farm visits, professional presentations and public events aimed at promoting high‑quality Angus beef. Several hundred farmers, breeders and industry stakeholders from across Europe are expected to attend, using the forum as a platform to exchange expertise and strengthen cross‑border cooperation within the beef sector.

The forum program in Romania starts in Cluj‑Napoca and wraps up in Bucharest. Over eight days, participants will visit seedstock farms, feedlots, bull testing and selection units, slaughter facilities, and livestock events, combining professional exchange with valuable insights into regional cattle production systems.
The European Angus Forum serves as a key platform for knowledge sharing, networking and strengthening the role of the Angus breed in European beef production.

EuroTier 2026: Platform for European livestock breeding
EuroTier will take place from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Hanover, Germany, bringing together the international livestock sector across 13 exhibition halls. More than 2,100 exhibitors from over 50 countries are expected, presenting technologies, genetics and solutions for all major livestock species, including dairy and beef cattle, pigs and poultry. A key feature for cattle breeders is the Spotlight TopTierTreff (Hall 11), the central meeting place for national and international breeding organisations and companies. The spotlight focuses on genetics, breeding strategies and innovation in both dairy and beef cattle. Animals remain at the exhibitors’ stands and are presented via high‑quality video on a panoramic screen, creating space for dialogue, knowledge transfer and professional exchange without the need for live shows on stage.
Another important focal point is the Spotlight “Forage Production” (Hall 12). As part of a curated special exhibition, exhibitors demonstrate how smart farming approaches in forage production can improve feed quality along the entire process chain, from cutting through to silage. The programme is complemented by the Forage Days on 12 and 13 November, while the DLG Expert Stage Cattle will address needs‑based ruminant feeding as part of the Spotlight.
By covering the full spectrum of livestock species and production systems, EuroTier offers Angus breeders and beef producers an international platform to explore breeding concepts, production technologies and market perspectives, while networking with cattle farmers and industry experts from all over the world.
