The authorities of San Francisco consider an organization of amateur "Guerrilla Grafters" illegal but are not able to stop them.
Already for six years participants of social movement of "Guerrilla Grafters" are trying to change streets of San Francisco. They try to turn decorative trees into small gardens attaching baby branches.
Municipal authorities are dissatisfied with their actions. According to them, fruit trees shouldn't grow on city streets: during blossoming they attract insects which can bite and make harm to people and after fructification they can attract rats and other rodents.
Nevertheless "Guerrilla Grafters" gather new supporters, spreading their ideas in social networks with the instructions how to attach fruit tree scions and lists of compatibility of trees.
