NASA has carried out a number of interesting tests in cultivation of vegetables in space. It is caused by the fact that space missions will become longer. Crew members should try to grow food in space.

NASA mission Veg-03 aims to check landing equipment Yeggie intended for lighting and fueling a space garden. The experiment included productivity testing of water distribution system  with various procedures which were applied for  romaine salad cultivation during Veg-01 tests.
