The Slovenian producer of the forage equipment SIP will present the prototype of the widest disk cropper in the world at Agritechnica 2017 exhibition. The company prepares novelty for the 50-year anniversary.
The unit under the name Silvercut Disc 1500T FC will have five mowers 3,25 meters wide, and the general width of the mower will be 14,55 m. The equipment in folded form has width of 3 m, height of 4 m and length of 7,5 m.
According to the company, the new model will work with the maximum speed of 15 km/h.It will be possible to cut off grass from 22,5 hectares an hour by means of the unit .
The weight of Silvercut Disc 1500T FC is 9 tons (without conditioner) therefore SIP recommends to use the tractor with power more than 350 h.p. with the hinged equipment.
The Slovenian producer will also present 14-rotor agitator-Spider 1500/14T and the 4 runner swath former -Star 1250/50T at Agritechnica exhibition.
