It’s all about total ban of a glifosats usage — pesticide which is applied to protect GMO crops.
The product will be banned in France by the end of 2022. The ban will also affect other pesticides similar as glifosats.
It is remarkable that scientists have not come to a conclusion whether glifosats can be harmful for people yet. There are such researches which confirm the danger of pesticides and also there are absolutely different researches.
Such ambiguity forces both consumers and ecological organizations to demand total ban of glifosats and similar pesticides.
French government is going to establish such ban in response to the offer of European Commission to prolong permission to use glifosats for ten years. At the same time French scientists are going to find a safe alternative to this herbicide, RIA Novosti reports.
